Florida License Plate
This is a Florida license plate that was required to be on every registered car in Florida. Each county had their own individual number that identified them on each license plate. The number 17 represented Seminole County.
Wooden Chair
This is a typical living room chair that would be found in the home in the late 1800’s- early 1900’s. Every home had at least one chair.

This is a board that was used to play checkers using soda bottle caps as the checker marks. Checkers was a game that was played by the whole family, and to this day, there is a group of old men that one can find still playing checkers in Goldsboro.

This was a table model electric fan and it was used in most homes due to there being no air condition. Homes, businesses, and churches are among the places that used these fans.
Cassette Player
This is an newer version of the cassette player (late 1900’s-early 2000’s). This was a more common way of listening to music after the record players and radios. They are being fazed out due to modern day radio and the internet.

This was a popular toy among younger boys. It was likely that his would be found in the household if the family had sons.
