This is a men’s/boys hairbrush. This was used in the barber shops to brush hair. All homes where men and boys lived had at least one of these hairbrushes.
Tobacco Tin
This tin was used to store tobacco. Some men liked to chew tobacco or smoke tobacco out of a pipe. This tin was kept and used to store other miscellaneous items after the tobacco was gone.

This tin was used to store chewing tobacco. Some men liked to chew tobacco or smoke tobacco out of a pipe.
Decorative Table Clock
This was a special item to have in the home. Most people had an ordinary clock, but nothing as fancy as this clock.
Electric Hot Plate
This was used as a stove. It was an object that was able to be transported from place to place. This was strictly for doing hair.

This was used to curl and press hair. In order to use this, it would have to be heated up on the stove.

These were use to curl hair. In order to use these, one would have to heat them up over a stove.
Decorative Hot Iron
This was used to help straighten hair. In order to use this, it would have to be heated up on the stove. This specific hot iron is more decorative than some of them were.
